You’ve been holding it together for everyone else.
But who is holding you up?
01
You make sure everyone else has what they need, even when you have no idea how you’re going to make it through the month.
02
You tell people you’re doing fine because you don’t have the energy to explain everything you’re actually going through.
03
You’ve been praying over a situation that hasn’t changed, and you’re trying to trust God while quietly wondering how much longer you can do this.
04
You’re carrying concerns about your children, your health, your family, or your future that follow you into bed and are waiting when you wake up.
05
You know God has called you to something more, but between everything you’re responsible for and everything you’re fighting through, you barely have room to breathe.
06
You love God. You believe His Word. But there are days when your faith feels harder to hold on to than you want anyone to know.
A faith and purpose community for believers under pressure, in preparation, and called to build. Rooted in Scripture. Strengthened through prayer. Activated into obedience.
“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.”Hebrews 6:19 (NIV)
You can be tired without being defeated.
You can be in deep water without being abandoned.
You can be under pressure and still be in purpose.
Most believers are not suffering because they don’t know they have a purpose. They are suffering because they don’t know what they are called to do. That gap pulls a whole life out of alignment with God’s Word.
This is where you learn exactly what you are called to, how to leverage Scripture to get there, and how it applies to a modern walk with God. And because the attacks are constant once you are called, this is community that carries past Sunday.
Lay it down. Let Him lift it. Choose the weight you are under and receive Scripture, a prayer to pray over yourself, and one next step. No paywall in front of it, ever.
"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."
Scripture of the day, audio prayers, readings, study and devotionals in one place. Open it in the morning. Return to it at midnight. It is always here, and never behind a paywall.
Today
Scripture of the day
Psalm 23:1-4
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
King James Version
Understand
David does not say the Lord was his shepherd once. He says the Lord is. Present tense. The still waters and the valley are both in the same psalm because both are in the same life, and the shepherd walks through both.
Pray
Lord, You are my shepherd today, not only on the day I feel led. Restore what is tired in me. Walk me through what I cannot see the end of. I will not fear, because You are with me.
Take the next step
Name the valley you are in right now, out loud, and then say verse four back to God with your name in it.

This week's study · the ANCHOR Method
The valley is on the path
Psalm 23:4 · Poetry · A Psalm of David
Every study runs the ANCHOR Method: Abide, Name, Character, Heart, Obedience, Respond. The backstory in plain terms first, then the text, then what it asks of you this week. Bring your answers to the Tuesday gathering.
A Abide (Abide in the Word). What does the Scripture actually say? Read the passage slowly and let the Word, not your feelings or circumstances, establish the truth.
N Name (Name the Tension). What is happening here? Name the struggle, conflict, fear, lie, circumstance, or human tension the passage exposes.
C Character (Consider the Character of God). What does this passage reveal about who God is, how He moves, what He values, or what He promises?
H Heart (Examine Your Heart). Where does this meet you personally? What belief, habit, fear, desire, wound, or attitude is God bringing to the surface?
O Obedience (Choose the Next Step). In light of what you just read, what are you being called to believe, surrender, stop, start, or do?
R Respond (Respond in Prayer). Pray the Word back to God and ask Him for the strength, wisdom, and courage to live what He revealed.
Today's devotional
The shepherd does not skip the valley
Psalm 23:4 (NIV)
We quote the green pastures and frame the quiet waters. We do not put verse four on a mug. But David put it in the middle of the psalm on purpose. The valley is not a detour from the shepherd's path. It is on it.
Notice what David does not say. He does not say the valley will be short, or that he will understand it, or that it will feel like God is close. He says one thing: “you are with me.” Presence is the promise. Not explanation. Not speed.
If you are in a valley today, you are not off the path. You are on the part of it where the shepherd walks closest.
Where have you been treating the valley as proof that God left, when it may be the place He is nearest?
